OBSI to launch Consumer Portal in 2020

As part of OBSI’s digital transformation, we are developing a website-based Consumer Portal to provide additional value to consumers who submit an online complaint to us. The portal will be similar in look and feel to the Firm Portal and will offer consumers secure online account access to view their case details, receive case updates, securely upload supporting documentation and update personal information. Another service that will be available to consumers is the use of an electronic signature process for signing various documents, such as the OBSI Consent Letter.

The portal project is intended to:

  • Modernize and automate the complaint submission process
  • Improve access to and facilitate the secure exchange of information between OBSI and consumers, and
  • Increase efficiency and accuracy by reducing the need for manual administration and data entry.

Deployment of the Consumer Portal is expected the summer of 2020.
