OBSI launches new website

We are pleased to announce the launch of our refreshed website. This update brings a contemporary design and user experience to OBSI.ca, making it easier and more intuitive for consumers and firms to access the information and tools they need.

Key features of the new website:

  • User-friendly navigation: information and tools are easy to access with a vibrant homepage.
  • Improved accessibility: the platform is designed to be more accessible to all users.
  • Improved backend management: The new site includes enhanced backend customization options, to make the website management more effective and cost efficient.

Implementation of the new website has not impacted the functionality and access that users enjoyed with the previous version, such as:

  • Make a complaint form – Consumers who prefer to interact with OBSI electronically can submit complaints online using our complaint submission form.
  • Find your firm search engine – An online tool to help consumers find the complaint contact information of participating firms.
  • Consumer portal – A secure 24/7 online tool that provides consumers with convenient, on-demand access to their case information all in one place, with the ability to view the details and status of their complaint(s) and upload related documents.
  • Firm portal – A tool that provides OBSI’s 1500+ participating firms with a secure, web-based access point to view key information for active cases, upload documents required for investigations, review aggregated historical data, manage annual membership-related tasks and more.
  • Data cube – An interactive digital information tool with at-a-glance access to recent and historical information about OBSI’s case experience and outcomes in an open and accessible visual format that allows users to filter data by date range, product, issue, industry, or firm.

The website is also a resource for information-sharing and OBSI communications including consumer and firm bulletins, approaches and case studies.

We invite you to explore the new site and experience these improvements firsthand. This update is part of our ongoing commitment to provide consumers and firms with the best possible service and support.
